Privacy notice
What we keep,
and what we don't.
Last updated 12 October 2026
The short version
HUMAN has no accounts, no email sign-up, no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking cookies. We store the words you send so they can be moderated and published, and very little else.
Who runs HUMAN
HUMAN (askhuman5.com) is responsible for this website and the information described here. You can reach us at archii1812@gmail.com.
What we store
- Messages, replies, and report reasons you submit, with the date and time and their moderation status (in review, approved, or not approved).
- Your return code, but only in a scrambled (hashed) form. We can't see or recover the code itself, so please keep it safe.
- Short-term abuse protection. To stop spam, we keep a scrambled, one-way version of your IP address for up to one hour, then delete it automatically. We can't turn it back into your IP address.
What we don't store
- No names, email addresses, phone numbers, or accounts.
- No visitor access logs: our web server is set not to record who visits.
- No cookies for visitors. The only cookie on the site is a sign-in cookie used by our moderators.
- No third-party fonts, scripts, analytics, or ads, so no other company sees your visit through this site.
Server error logs
If something goes wrong on the server, its error log may briefly record technical details of the request, which can include an IP address. These logs are used only to fix faults.
Who can see your words
Messages and replies are read by our moderators before anything is published. Approved messages and replies are public and can be read by anyone. Anything that isn't approved stays private, though it remains in our database until it's deleted.
How long we keep things
Published messages stay on the wall until they are hidden or removed. Our server makes a backup copy of the database each day, and each backup is deleted after 14 days. If you'd like a message or reply removed, see below.
Your rights and removal requests
Because we don't know who you are, the easiest way to ask for one of your messages to be removed is to email archii1812@gmail.com with its return code, or quote the message wording. Under data protection law (including the UK and EU GDPR) you can ask to access or delete personal data about you, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Why we use this information
We process what you send so we can run the wall you chose to post on, and we use short-term abuse protection because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the site safe and free of spam.
Changes
If we change how HUMAN handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
